3.

The Warkworth Museum

In our Museum we are proud of the constantly developing and changing displays that give an insight into the lives and pursuits of our pioneering families. From the past to the present, we have a magnificent display of colonial history which is beautifully presented.

4.

The Vivian

The Vivian shows internationally-renowned and local artists in curated and group shows interspersed by talks, performances, and events. An important part of The Vivian experience is the ability to connect extraordinary art with ordinary people. In ways that educate, invigorate, and perhaps even liberate. One thing’s for sure, whether you find something you love (or hate), you’ll learn something about art. Where it’s going. Where it’s been. Or where it is now.

5.

Sullivans Bay campsite

The only vehicle based campground in the beautiful Mahurangi Regional Park and is very popular so book ahead.

Camping is along the beachfront on a large grassy area, with some large trees to shelter under. There is easy access to sea kayaking along the sheltered bays and heaps of walking opportunities to the lookout and other camping sites.

6.

Lucy Moore Memorial park

Lucy Moore Memorial park adjoins a riverbank walk that extends along the south side from Warkworth bridge across the town. There are several access points from the main shopping area (Neville St), beside the bridge by the weir (Elizabeth St), or the Lucy Moore park entrance on Lilburn St.
